His research fields include history of the Middle Ages in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, Russian history, social and economic history.PrzemysÅaw UrbaÅczyk is a professor and Director of the Polish Institute of Advanced Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on archaeology and history of the Middle Ages in Poland, Central Europe, Scandinavia and North Atlantic region.
