Dr Zed Rengel is Professor of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition at the University of Western Australia. An internationally-renowned expert on plant nutrition, Professor Rengel is co Editor-in-Chief of Crop and Pasture Science, Editor of the Journal of Plant Nutrition, Associate Editor of the Journal of Plant Physiology, as well as being on the editorial board of several other journals. From 2011 to 2013 he served as the Chairman of the Department of Soil Chemistry, Plant Nutrition and Microbiology, Institute of Soil, Water and Environmental Sciences, The Volcani Center, ARO. Dr Bar-Tal currently serves as the president of the Israeli Society of Soil Science. His research interests focus on soil chemistry, plant nutrition and fertilization of crops.
