His research area includes Continuum Mechanics, Functionally graded materials, Fuzzy Sets and Numerical methods.Ritu Sahni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Sciences, Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar from the last 6 years. Previously she worked at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida and Navrachna University, Vadodara. Her total experience of teaching and research is approximately 12 years. She has published more than 35 research papers in various International Journals and Conference Proceedings. She is a Life Member of various prestigious societies such as Indian Science Congress, Indian Mathematical Society, etc. Currently she is working in the area of fixed-point theory and fuzzy modelling.
