Author

Narendra Kumar was born in 1976 in Pitro, a village locatedin Bhojpur district of Bihar, India. He received B.Sc. (Hons.)and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from Banaras Hindu Universityin 1996 and 1998, respectively. Prior to graduation, he completedhis schooling from PTPS (Patratu) High School andSt. Columba´s College, Hazaribag, Jharkhand. He obtained adoctorate in Applied Physics from IIT-BHU in 2002. Duringhis doctoral research, he worked on the propagationcharacteristics of some optical waveguides with new smartstructures as well as one-dimensional photonic crystals.Dr. Kumar is an Assistant Professor (in senior grade) in theDepartment of Physics, School of Sciences, Mody Universityof Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan,India. He has over 16 years of experience in academics and research. His research interestsinclude Optoelectronics and Photonics. He has published more than 24 research papers inthe peer-reviewed international journals and presented papers in several national andinternational conferences. He has also co-authored 4 book chapters in the books publishedfrom globally recognized publishers. Some of his works have been extensively cited bymany leading researchers in the field. His three books have been published by majorabroad publishers including Nova Science Publishers, Inc. (USA). He is a member of Boardof Studies at Mody University and has designed several curricula in Physics for UG andPG levels. He has supervised five master-degree dissertations and co-supervised four doctoraltheses. He has also served as Head, Department of Science, during 2013-2015 andthereafter as Coordinator, Department of Physics, for 3 years at Mody University. Dr. Kumaris in the editorial board of the International Journal of Electromagnetics and Applications (SAP),USA, and associated with some international journals as an invited reviewer in his area ofexpertise. He is a Life Fellow of Optical Society of India and the Indian Science CongressAssociation.Bhuvneshwer Suthar was born in 1983 in Bikaner, India.He received a B.Sc. degree in 2002 from MDS University,Ajmer, India and an M.Sc. degree in Physics in 2004 from theUniversity of Bikaner, and a PhD degree in Photonics in 2011from MGS University, Bikaner (formerly the University ofBikaner). He received the Junior Research Fellowship ofCSIR, New Delhi, India during 2006-2008 and the SeniorResearch Fellowship of CSIR, New Delhi, India during2008-2011. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in theCollege of Engineering & Technology, Bikaner during2011-2012 and then in Govt. Engineering College, Bikanerduring 2012-2018. At present, he is working as an AssistantProfessor in the Department of Physics, MLB GovernmentCollege, Nokha, Bikaner, India. He has published more than 40 research papers in nationalandinternational-level journals and also published more than 25 papers in variousinternational conference proceedings. He has published two authored books and oneedited book on photonic crystals in Nova Science Publishers, Inc. (USA). He has been aneditor of four published international conference proceedings, including AIP ConferenceProceedings. His research interests include Optoelectronics, Photonics, and NonlinearOptics. Dr. Suthar is a member of the editorial board of the two international journals andalso a reviewer of various international journals. He is also a senior member of InternationalAssociation of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT).
